"If everybody was satisfied with himself, there would be no heroes." Mark Twain

As Mark Twain pointed out, everybody needs a hero - and they don't come much more heroic than James Bond, who has made two new appearances recently: given a new lease of life by Sebastian Faulks in Devil May Care and in the fourth title in Charlie Higson's Young James Bond series, Hurricane Gold. Set in the Carribean and Mexico, the latter is a classic heady mix of danger, greed and betrayal in the pursuit of secret treasure.
A huge part of writing for children is incorporating an element of wish-fulfilment into your story. By facing up to problems and challenges your protagonist should find inner strengths and powers to emerge a hero in the truest sense of the word!
Happy writing!
